Oliver Platt joining Showtime's "C Word"

Linney stars as a suburban wife and mother diagnosed with cancer but who manages to find the lighter side. Platt will play her husband, a narcissistic but lovable manchild.
Platt will next be seen in director Roland Emmerich's latest disaster picture "2012," which opens November 13.
